Major Name Planned For Potential WWE John Cena & Travis Scott Match WWE

Bad Bunny’s potential WWE return plans involving John Cena and Travis Scott have been revealed.

Following Travis Scott’s key role in the finish of John Cena’s WrestleMania 41 Night Two main event with Cody Rhodes, it has been reported that WWE may be planning to team the rapper with Cena for a match at some point this year.

Commenting on WWE’s reported plans for Cena and Scott, Dave Meltzer added new details for what could be next via the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, with Bad Bunny potentially set to be involved also.

Meltzer wrote:

There have already been reports of Scott & Cena doing a tag team match. The theory was Bad Bunny would be on the other side.

Rhodes would make the most sense as the partner but that aspect wasn’t confirmed to us past the idea that if it is done, they’d need a wrestler of the level of Cena on the face side.

Bad Bunny last competed in WWE at Backlash 2023, where he defeated Damian Priest in a San Juan Street Fight in his native Puerto Rico.

Cody Rhodes did not appear on the Raw after WrestleMania, with Cena seemingly transitioning into a feud with Randy Orton heading into WWE Backlash on May 10.
