Former NXT Tag Champion and member of the Undisputed Era Bobby Fish has been pulled from upcoming appearances for EVOLVE.
WWN Live announced that Fish has been pulled from the EVOLVE 129 event on June 29 from Queens, and EVOLVE 130 on June 30 (my birthday) from Brooklyn.
Fish will still be at the event for a meet & greet, but he will not be wrestling.
While it hasn’t been revealed why Fish has been pulled, the fact that he is still appearing for the meet and greet would suggest that it is an injury rather than anything else.
Fish did wrestle at the most recent NXT tapings, something his tag partner Kyle O’Reilly did not do. O’Reilly revealed that he has been dealing with a back injury that caused him to miss the NXT tapings from the UK Download Festival this past week.
Fish’s next scheduled wrestling appearance is at NXT TakeOver: Toronto II on August 10 over SummerSlam weekend, but there’s no reason to suggest that he won’t be able to compete at this show.
Hopefully whatever the issue is, it doesn’t keep him out for too much longer, he’s had enough bad luck with injuries as it is!
