A major match planned for WWE WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas has been revealed after a big ending to yesterday’s Raw.
Raw went off the air with Bron Breakker attacking Seth Rollins, with Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman siding with Breakker.
There’s a belief this was done – or at least moved forward to happen earlier than planned – due to Rollins suffering an injury in his WWE Crown Jewel match against Cody Rhodes, although some people in WWE doubt those rumors because of the fake Rollins injury that led to his Money in the Bank cash-in at SummerSlam.
Addressing the finish to Raw, Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio today noted that tenative plans have been for Rollins to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 42.
He said:
“Seth Rollins was tentatively scheduled to wrestle Roman Reigns at WrestleMania.
“I don’t know this, but I have been told enough things to where I expected there would be a turn on Seth Rollins at some point.
“Because the whole thing with this faction was that it was not about Seth Rollins – it was about Bron Breakker, and making Bron Breakker the next Roman Reigns.
“How you do that, I wasn’t told, I was just thinking that’s how you end up doing it, but I doubt it was gonna be this early.”

We’ll keep you posted with any further details on Rollins’ potential injury, which was believed to have been a shoulder issue after his coast-to-coast diving headbutt during the match against Rhodes.
