Returns in wrestling are fun and exciting and it looks like we might be getting another one. While not confirmed by any means, Brie Bella seemed to indicate that she and Nikki Bella could be in for one more run in WWE.
Speaking with Mario Lopez on Access, Brie said that she and Nikki want to be WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. She added at the end that she thinks they have one more run in them. Here is the quote, courtesy of Fightful:
“This is what’s hard for Nikki and I. When we left, all of a sudden the WWE Women’s Tag Titles (came) and we’re like, ‘Wait a sec, that’s for the Bella twins.’ We’ve been dying to have tag titles. We feel like we have one more run in us and we really want to go for those tag titles.”
The Bella Twins have not been in WWE since 2018. Nikki’s last appearance came in the main event of Evolution in a loss to Ronda Rousey, while Brie worked the same time also teaming with her husband, Daniel Bryan.
Both Bella Twins recently gave birth so it is unlikely that these returns will happen in the immediate future.
