AEW
Two major stipulations have been added to the AEW World Championship main event at Revolution on March 15.
At AEW Grand Slam Australia last weekend, two matches took place to help determine the main event match at the upcoming AEW Revolution pay-per-view event in Los Angeles.
The first match saw ‘Hangman’ Adam Page best Andrade El Idolo in a match that would determine the number one contender for the AEW World Championship on the show.
The main event of Grand Slam saw MJF retain the title against Brody King, confirming MJF vs. Adam Page as the Revolution main event.
On tonight’s Dynamite show, Hangman and MJF went face to face ahead of the match, where two major stipulations were put in place.
Hangman would run down his hatred for MJF, saying that he wanted to end things for good between them, challenging MJF to a Texas Deathmatch at Revolution.
MJF would initially reject the challenge, but Hangman would later give MJF his word that if he lost, he would never challenge for the AEW World Championship again, which MJF would then accept.
