Over the last couple of weeks on NXT television, some vignettes have aired with the numbers 2, 5, and 20. Many people speculated what could the weird numbers mean.
Some speculated it would be the recently signed Killer Kross. Others thought it might be a returning Velveteen Dream.
If you were one who guessed the latter, you’d be right. After the main event, The Undisputed Era beat down Ciampa, Matt Riddle, and Pete Dunne after Roderick Strong caused the disqualification.
With the numbers advantage, someone needed to make the save. The weird promo hit again.
The three numbers ultimately morphed into Dream’s 3 rimmed glasses.

Many were hoping for a somewhat bigger reveal. However, that doesn’t mean this wasn’t cool.
Velveteen Dream took out the whole group with a crossbody. He then continued by hitting punches. Then, Dream hit Strong – the man who beat him for the North American title, with a Dream Valley Driver.
Then he did he ripped off one pair of tights to reveal another pair that had Strong’s family on the front and “Call Me Up Marina” on his backside. Marina is Strong’s wife.

Dream being back definitely will add some star power to NXT on Wednesday nights.
The question is can he help fans to quit sleeping on NXT on Wednesday night and tune in.
