There were new champions crowned on tonight’s AEW Dynamite to cap off an already newsworthy edition of the show.
After making an entrance with a new licensed theme, the Gunns did not retain their AEW Tag Team Championships in the main event of the night.
After a hard fought battle where they attempted to swindle a win in numerous different ways, in the end FTR was able to conquer the Gunns.
FTR not only captured the AEW Tag Team Championships but also will remain in AEW according to commentary.
With Mark Briscoe coming out to the ring to celebrate with FTR, the show ended on a joyful note.
Elsewhere on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, a surprise appearance from a major free agent in professional wrestling, and then an announcement from Tony Khan that he had officially been signed with AEW.
Also, the return of one beloved AEW star to compliment Christian Cage’s dastardly return.
The major announcement by Tony Khan was also revealed with subsequent details being shared by AEW after the segment on television.
