Major Title Change On WWE NXT

Keith Lee has defeated Roderick Strong to win the North American Championship on WWE NXT. This is Lee’s first championship since signing with WWE.

The two main evented this week’s episode of the show. The Undisputed Era did their best to distract Lee while Strong worked over his ankle but in the end Lee’s power was too much and he beat Strong with the Big Bang Catastrophe.

Strong had been the NXT North American Champion since he defeated Velveteen Dream on September 29, 2019. He is the first member of Undisputed Era to lose his respective championship.

After the match, Strong and the rest of Undisputed Era brawled with Imperium. The NXT UK stable had distracted them earlier in the night, causing Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly to lose their semi-final match in the Dusty Rhodes Classic. The two stables will compete in an eight-man tag team match at Worlds Collide.
