Next week, AEW: Dynamite is getting pre-empted by NBA Basketball. As such, Dynamite will air at 6pm on August 22nd or when the NBA game airing before it is over.
Tonight on the show, AEW announced a major TNT Championship Match for the Saturday Night Dynamite. Cody will be defending his title against Mr. Brodie Lee.
Cody and Scorpio Sky had a heavily promoted match. The match tonight had a lot of hype around the entrances and such. Cody won the hard-fought match. However, Brodie Lee appeared on the big screen after the match.
He challenged Cody. He said he was going to take that big shiny gold belt off him. He said he would give him the old version as a consolation prize.
