Major UFC Star Challenges Roman Reigns To Match

A major UFC star has recently called out WWE star Roman Reigns, asking Vince McMahon and Triple H to make an official match.

The “Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns often claims that WWE is his yard. a UFC veteran wants to put that to the test, challenging Roman Reigns to a match over social media.

This all started with an interview on ESPN MMA, where Roman Reigns claimed that he’d best anybody one-on-one, from Daniel Bryan to “DC” Daniel Cormier.

Cormier didn’t take too kindly to this claim. He took to Twitter to tell Reigns to watch his mouth… accidentally tagging the wrong Roman Reigns account. Paul Heyman mocked Cormier for his mistake, tweeting:

LMAO! @dc_mma tagged an imposter @WWERomanReigns account, hoping the #UniversalChampion doesn’t see this nonsense. Fight ROMAN REIGNS? #DC would be lucky to be in @WWE as enhancement talent! His biggest moment in @UFC was getting shoved across the Octagon by @BrockLesnar!”

Reigns retweeted Heyman’s post, noting that becoming a commentator made Cormier soft. Cormier responded, explaining that even at 42 years old, he is capable of defeating The Big Dog any day of the week.

Tagging Vince McMahon and Triple H, Cormier tweeted:

My advisor @arielhelwani is waiting by the phone. Its time to stop talking and let’s make this real! I’m 42 years old with a bad back and I’m whippin you any day of the week. Your move @VinceMcMahon @HHH this my yard , I’m the big dog!”

Unfortunately, Cormier tagged the wrong “HHH”, so it might be a while until he gets a response from The Game.

A former UFC Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight Champion, Cormier became the second ever fighter to hold a UFC title in two different weight classes, defending both titles in their respective divisions.

He announced his retirement from MMA in August last year. Cormier currently acts as an analyst and commentator for the UFC.

Recently Roman Reigns has discussed his future beyond WWE. You can read about the current Universal Champion’s post-WWE plans here.
