A huge update has emerged on Chelsea Green, following speculation that she is on her way back to WWE.
Following several returns under the Triple H regime, it was reported by WrestleVotes in October that WWE had significant interest in bringing back Chelsea Green.
Since then, a number of sources have confirmed that WWE wanted to re-sign Green, with Dave Meltzer reporting that there have been discussions about plans for her to be featured in a new WWE reality show.
Green recently shut down her OnlyFans exclusive content page, fuelling speculation that she’s WWE-bound once again.
Fightful Select (subscription required) has now cleared up any confusion surrounding Green’s status. In a new report, Fightful explicitly stated that Green is heading to WWE.
The report noted:
“It was noted to us that Chelsea Green actually shut down her exclusive content page last week, but wrestling twitter just caught wind of it this week. She is heading to WWE.”
Green was released from her WWE contract in April 2021, one year after her now-husband, Matt Cardona (fka Zack Ryder) was let go by the company.
Although there have been rumors that Cardona will return to WWE, Fightful Select didn’t mention him, only reporting that Green is heading to WWE.
Cardona is currently slated to compete at the upcoming IMPACT Hard To Kill special on January 13. You can read more about Cardona’s upcoming title bout right here.
