It was announced last night that WWE star Andrade had been released from his contract. This came after it was reported that he had recently asked for his WWE release. Now, we have even more information about his future.
Dave Meltzer is reporting that Andrade’s WWE release did not include a 90-day no-compete clause. This means he is able to wrestle for any promotion he wants immediately with no issue. In theory, he could show up on AEW Dynamite this week.
Andrade had been on the WWE main roster for almost three years, debuting on SmackDown in 2018. He was taken off television late last year after he split from his tag partner, Angel Garza. He was said to be very unhappy about sitting in catering before he asked for his release.
Where Andrade might appear next still remains to be seen. However, he is a highly regarded talent with history in many of the world’s top promotions.
