Right now, 205 Live is filmed and broadcast live on the WWE Network immediately following Smackdown Live on Tuesday nights.
However, with Smackdown moving to FOX next week, the future of 205 Live has been up in the air.
Triple H vaguely discussed the future of the brand recently and said that it would “fall under the NXT umbrella”, leading some to believe that 205 Live would be merged with NXT.
This speculation was furthered after Lio Rush defeated Oney Lorcan to become number one contender to the Cruiserweight Championship on NXT’s USA Network debut show.
However, PWInsider is reporting that the plan as of right now is for 205 Live to move to Friday nights and air on the WWE Network immediately following Smackdown as normal.
Expect an announcement to be made this week, possibly even on 205 Live tonight.
