A major WWE faction has split up, with its leader kicked out of the group during today’s episode of Raw in Perth, Australia.
The Raw main event was a three-way between Jey Uso, LA Knight and CM Punk, with the winner going on to be the next challenger for Seth Rollins’ World Heavyweight Championship.
LA Knight looked to have the match won after a Blunt Force Trauma to Punk, but Uso pinned Knight off the fall and threw him into the steel steps at ringside.
With Knight out of the equation, Uso couldn’t capitalize as Punk hit him with a GTS and scored the pin over Uso to pick up the win.
CM Punk – the man Rollins won the title from at SummerSlam via his Money in the Bank cash-in – will officially be the next challenger for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
However, after the match, Rollins, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman of The Vision all came out and laid waste to Punk, Uso and Knight.
As they were standing tall in the ring, Breakker snapped and speared Rollins.
Breakker then told Bronson Reed to choose between Breakker and Rollins, with Reed choosing Breakker, and delivering his own Tsunami splash to Rollins.
Breakker then also told Heyman he needed to choose who to side with, and Heyman chose Breakker and Reed as well.
The three of them stood tall over Rollins to end WWE Raw, with Breakker holding the World Heavyweight Championship above his head.
