A major WWE star has issued a challenge to Hall of Famer and 14-time World Champion Triple H for a match, maybe even in NXT.
Speaking on his latest Twitch stream, AJ Styles spoke about how much he wants to face HHH after already having tagged with him last year.
He said:
“I would love to wrestle Triple H [at WrestleMania]. I really want to get in the ring with him. There’s always a reason – it’s not just because he’s Triple H. I always love getting to learn from guys like that. Wrestling The Undertaker was awesome for me. To have that – I’ve tagged with Triple H in Japan, but I’ve never went up against him.
“The challenge is out there, Triple H. If you want some of The Phenomenal One, let me know and we’ll take care of business. If you want me to come down to NXT and do it in front of your NXT family, then that’s the way it has to be. Just let me know!”
HHH hasn’t wrestled since the June 2019 Japan tour. On June 28 he teamed with Styles, Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows to beat Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre & Samoa Joe in an eight-man tag. The following day he teamed with Shinsuke Nakamura to beat Robert Roode & Joe.
His last match on broadcast was earlier that month on June 7 last year in a loss to Randy Orton at Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia.
