WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has taken to Twitter and has seemingly confirmed that his daughter Charlotte will miss WrestleMania.
Flair wrote:
Praying For A Speedy Recovery! You’ve Set The Bar So High. WrestleMania Will Not Be The Same Without The Queen! @MsCharlotteWWE
This comes after Charlotte Flair confirmed last night that she had COVID-19.
Andrade had previously seemed to tweet that Flair had four days left until she was free to return, so it’s not 100% clear despite Ric’s tweet.
WWE announced last night that Asuka will defend the Raw Women’s Championship against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania.
The title match was initially supposed to be Flair vs Lacey Evans, then Asuka vs Flair when Evans found out she was pregnant, so the announced match is actually the third iteration of the plan.
If Flair is back there is of course a possibility that she could be added to make it a three-way.
We continue to wish Charlotte Flair a safe and healthy recovery.
