Remember a few months ago when Bayley and Sasha Banks were SmackDown acts but would show up on either show because they were the women’s tag champs? Remember when Charlotte Flair used to show up on every show because she was Charlotte Flair?
Well, if you liked seeing women on both brands, you are in luck. Charlotte Flair was announced to be appearing on this Friday Night’s SmackDown.
She and Asuka will be defending the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions against a team to be announced. The Riott Squad are basically the only real women’s tag team on SmackDown. So, it would be hard to find another actual team to wrestle. But it’s WWE, so we’ll probably get Nattie and a tag team partner of her choosing.
Also announced for SmackDown is a rematch between Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens. This match will be in a steel cage.
I’m sure the cage will be 100% effective in keeping any outside interference in check.
Also announced is an Intercontinental Championship match between Sami Zayn and Big E. Will Zay find a way to get out of this one with his title?
