RETRIBUTION appeared to finally be gaining some momentum in WWE recently, and it looks like they could be looking to add a new member to their ranks.
After being suspended (in storyline) by WWE for attacking Adam Pearce on Raw this past Monday, Braun Strowman took to Twitter to air his grievances.
Really? You’re gonna suspend me for what expecting what I’ve earned? Everyone and their brother knows what I’ve done to get here and I’ve more than earn a title opportunity. To hell with this place & all the backstage politics BULLSH**!!! #ImDoneFollowingOrders #EveryoneWillFall
Sound familiar? Accusing WWE of backstage politics and not giving him what he deserves makes Strowman sound a bit like RETRIBUTION, who have made it clear they feel the same way about their position in the company. T-BAR even tagged leader Mustafa Ali to see Strowman’s tweet.
It had been reported that Strowman was scheduled to challenge Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship at next month’s TLC pay-per-view, but it’s since been said that the storyline suspension is actually because he got injured at Survivor Series, putting the planned McIntyre match in jeopardy.
Obviously, Strowman joining RETRIBUTION seems unlikely and T-BAR has become known for his Twitter antics, so don’t take this as a factual report or anything, but the question is, would you actually want to see it?
