Major WWE Star Spotted Backstage At Money In The Bank

A major WWE star has been spotted in Toronto, Canada ahead of tonight’s WWE Money In The Bank premium live event.

Tonight’s Money In The Bank event is the final show on the road to SummerSlam, and a major WWE star has been spotted in town ahead of the show.

UPDATE: PWInsider Elite reports that John Cena is BACKSTAGE at Money in the Bank. It’s unknown if he’s planned to appear on-screen.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), a reader had sent word and a photo to Fightful that John Cena is in Toronto today ahead of the Money In The Bank show.

Fightful has not heard whether or not he is planned for an appearance on tonight’s show in any capacity.

Fightful reached out to WWE on the matter, but did not get a confirmation as to whether or not he would be on the show or if he was in town for official WWE business.

Cena made a surprise appearance at last year’s WWE Money In The Bank event in London, but has not appeared on WWE television since the Raw after WrestleMania show, where he teamed with Awesome Truth against the Judgment Day.
