Maki Itoh has quickly become one of the most popular independent wrestling stars in recent years, and has captured the hearts of the AEW Galaxy since her first appearance on the show last year.
Maki last wrestled for AEW as the Joker in the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup tournament, losing to the eventual tournament winner Britt Baker.
Fans in attendance at this week’s AEW Dynamite were treated to the return of Maki Itoh during the tapings for AEW Dark: Elevation, and her return match has officially been announced for tonight’s show.
Maki is set to team with Emi Sakura to take on the duo of Hikaru Shida and Skye Blue. The full card for tonight’s show is as followed:
