It has been reported that WWE star Mandy Rose may have suffered an injury during a match at the recent NXT tapings.
Trent Osborne of Bodyslam.net reports that Rose was seemingly injured after a dropkick from Sarray sent her to the outside. It was noted that Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne covered Rose’s face with a towel and walked her to the back as the referee began a ten count. The bell was called for before the ref reached 10, however.
It was also stated that sources said Rose joined Dolin and Jayne for a beatdown angle later in the night, wearing a protective face mask. It was noted that Rose’s face mask was similar to the one recently sported by Sheamus on Raw.
It was unclear whether Rose was legitimately hurt, or if her injury was part of a storyline. It was pointed out that she took part in a physical segment, so if she is injured, it doesn’t seem like she will be on the shelf for long, if at all.
The report noted that Rose’s match with Sarray will air on next week’s show.
