It looks like former WWE main roster star Mandy Rose will be next to challenge Raquel Gonzalez for the NXT Women’s Championship.
Last night’s episode of NXT 2.0 ended with Rose, Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne – known collectively as Toxic Attraction – beating down Gonzalez, before Rose held the title above her head.
That came after Gonzalez had just retained the title against Franky Monet.
Earlier in the show, Dolin and Jayne were unsuccessful in challenging Io Shirai and Zoey Stark for the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Mandy Rose was moved from Raw to NXT in July, but the direction with her, Dolin and Jayne as a group was only really established a few weeks ago.
It was reported at the time that Aliyah had been moved to Raw in exchange for Rose, but she has yet to make her main roster TV debut with the exception of Main Event, but she’s probably a name to look out for during the draft in a few days’ time.
