Prior to her WWE release in December 2022, in controversial circumstances Mandy Rose was closing on Asuka as the longest reigning NXT Women’s Champion of all time.
However, she would drop her title to Roxanne Perez at the December 13 edition of NXT and depart the company one day later.
While Mandy herself was hurt following WWE’s decision it seems as if the former champ is at least still keeping an eye on her former brand and the title she became so synonymous with.
Following her victory at Saturday’s Stand & Deliver in a six-way ladder match, the new NXT Women’s Champion Indi Hartwell has been receiving plaudits from many of her current colleagues, and now it seems Mandy is sharing the same congratulatory sentiments.
Posting on Twitter, Rose posted a response to Hartwell’s win.
Rose tweeted:
“Wow… so incredibly proud and happy for @indi_hartwell words can’t even describe how amazing of a person she truly is !!!”
While Rose hasn’t as of yet ventured back into the world of pro wrestling, she has affirmed that her time in the ring isn’t done, and even commented on a potential AEW run back in February.
