WWE announced earlier today that Vince McMahon will make an appearance on tonight’s WWE SmackDown show following the recent allegations against him.
This decision has been criticised across the wrestling world, with former WWE star Maria Kanellis chiming in on the announcement, claiming it is ‘disrespectful’.
She said:
Isn’t this disrespectful to the women hurt in this situation? It’s not a joke. WWE’s company culture of fear and abuse of power is not a joke.
Maria isn’t the only person frustrated with the announcement, as it has reportedly led to ‘frustration’ backstage.
