Former AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May has made her first comments since debuting on tonight’s June 3 episode of WWE NXT.
Just a couple of days after her AEW contract expired and she officially parted ways with the promotion, May appeared on NXT tonight and cut a promo from the platform in the Performance Center to the rest of the women’s division who were in the ring or at ringside.
She said:
“I have finally arrived. And ladies, you can call me the next NXT Women’s Champion.
“Because the best women’s division in the world just got a lot more glamourous.”
Now, in a WWE social media video posted after the show, May has commented further, saying:
“It’s about damn time. I’ve wrestled all over the world, and it’s only right that The Glamour arrives in NXT.”
She also posted a tweet as you can see below, writing:
honey i’m home @WWE @WWENXT
May had been off AEW TV since early March when she lost the Hollywood Ending match at the Revolution pay-per-view against Toni Storm.
