Former World Heavyweight Champion and WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry spoke about the WrestleMania 35 card and which match he thought should main event this week on Busted Open Radio.
Henry argued the case that AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton was a main event match, and would be the sort that should close a show like WrestleMania, he said:
”This is one of those matches that people look at and it’s not filler. Both of these guys have been champions multiple times, and as much as we want to see Kofi and Daniel Bryan in the main event, and we want to see what happens with Becky, Ronda, and Charlotte, and Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar … This is a main event match!”

Henry would go on to add:
”Randy Orton is not on the Mount Rushmore yet, but he’s slowly entering the top 10 or 15 of all-time. He’s that damn good. AJ Styles, from the time that he was an indie guy until now, he did everything at every level that there is to do. He’s become an elite champion. Not just a champion, but one of the guys that can carry the load. He’s carried WWE for the past two years. So, why wouldn’t this be in the conversation as a main event match for WrestleMania?”
After their fiery confrontation this week on Smackdown Live, fans have been saying that the Styles vs. Orton programme is one of the most interesting and intriguing on a WrestleMania card that has been lumbered with overly complex and tiresome booking.
Fans should not think that this is Mark Henry giving away which match will main event, he is just praising two skilled veterans like Styles and Orton. Vince McMahon himself has not even reportedly finalised which match will close the show of shows, but I would be almost 100% sure that it won’t be AJ vs. Randy, in spite of the fact that it has the potential to steal the show.
