Reality TV Legend Will Be At NXT Spring Breakin To Support Grayson Waller WWE

A reality TV legend will be at NXT Spring Breakin special to support Grayson Waller.

At this Tuesday’s NXT Spring Breakin show, Carmelo Hayes will defend the NXT Championship against Grayson Waller.

At last year’s special, MTV The Challenge Godfather Mark Long appeared alongside Grayson Waller for his bout against Nathan Frazer.

During a recent interview with Fightful Overbooked’s FMC, Long stated that he wasn’t going to be at the show. He said:

“If I’m being honest, it would be awesome. It would be great. Not to quote The Miz, but it would be awesome. I will not be at Spring Breakin this year.”

The two-time Challenge champion later followed up on Monday morning and said that he would in fact be at NXT Spring Breakin to support Waller. Praising Waller’s work on the NXT brand during the interview, Grayson said:

“You never know, the draft is coming up. Maybe Grayson gets drafted somewhere else. I don’t know, he’ll never tell me. I keep telling him, ‘there is no other place for you to go after that match,’ especially if he loses, than the WWE (main roster).”

“He’s such a big star now, he does carry a lot of that NXT weight. He’s such a huge personality on the microphone. Whenever he makes his way up to the [main roster], which will be sooner than later, I hope, they’re going to have to fill that void.”

“He is such a great heel. I’ve talked to him privately and he goes, ‘I fucking hate when they cheer me. I hate it. If they’re holding a Grayson Waller sign, I’m going to rip it half. I want to be a heel all the time.'”

Along with multiple appearances on WWE television over the years, Mark Long is set to return in the ring against Matt Cardona on May 7.
