Marko Stunt Reveals Plans To Open Wrestling Promotion

Marko Stunt Reveals Plans To Open Wrestling Promotion AEW

Marko Stunt was one of several AEW stars who left the promotion earlier this year after his contract expired, with his last match taking place on the September 29 episode of AEW Dark: Elevation.

The former Jurassic Express member recently spoke to Steve Fall of NBC Sports Boston, where he opened up about his future plans following his AEW departure.

Stunt revealed that he is planning on opening up his own promotion in Memphis this September.

He said:

“I’m actually, I have my own promotion coming up around where I live in Memphis. I think we’re starting here in September. We’re still trying to come up with everything and do everything. We haven’t released any posters or anything. That is coming soon. I am going to be starting up a promotion here. I also help out a lot with a show in Missouri, with the booker there. I’ve been getting into that role and trying to learn that type of stuff.”

When Stunt was asked about his future goals in wrestling following his AEW departure, he circled back around to the running and operating of his new promotion.

He said:

“That is my biggest goal right now. Starting that up, getting it running, having a little bit of eyes on it. It’ll be cool once it starts going, I think it’ll have initial buzz once I announce it and hopefully, I can keep that up, not get that initial pop and not know where to go from there.”

Christian Cage namedropped Marko Stunt in his promo against Jungle Boy on AEW Dynamite two weeks ago, which Marko has responded to, claiming it was ‘kinda lame’.
