Massive Raw Debut!

Massive Raw Debut!

On last night’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Drew McIntyre made his main roster debut (return?) after he aligned with Dolph Ziggler who had just been traded to the red brand.

This comes after McIntyre had been out injured since November of last year with a bicep injury he sustained in an NXT Championship match with Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas.

McIntyre, a former NXT, ICW, Impact and WCPW World Champion made a big impact on the main roster last night when he joined Ziggler in attacking Titus Worldwide with a vicious beatdown.

McIntyre appeared from no where and blindsided Apollo Crews – who has had his last name returned to him – and Titus O’Neil – insert that bark noise he makes – to a massive pop from the crowd. Finishing the beatdown with a very nice Claymore kick/Zig-Zag combo finisher and cheers from the audience.

Drew was last seen on the main roster in 2014 as a member of 3MB alongside former WWE Champion, Jinder Mahal and former SmackDown Live Tag Team Champion, Heath Slater;  his last appearance coming at Extreme Rules 2014 in the ‘WeeLC’ match between Hornswoggle and El Torito.

Since his first release from the WWE he made a name for himself all over the world as a regular on the British independent scene for the aforementioned ICW and WCPW, while also competing in Impact Wrestling until March of last year.

The big Scot used his freedom from the WWE during this time to re-invent himself and become on the hottest free agents in the world, being re-signed to NXT in April of 2017 he has quickly made the jump to the main roster and it looks like big things are in his future.

It’s worth pointing out that all 3 members of 3MB are on the Raw brand, so could we see the band get back together? Just saying.
