WWE is set to host the first night of the 2023 WWE Draft on next week’s (April 28) episode of SmackDown.
As well as the Draft, the show is set to feature a huge WrestleMania 39 main event rematch, as Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn defend the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship against The Usos.
On last night’s show, WWE made a SmackDown Women’s Championship match official for Backlash in Puerto Rico, with Rhea Ripley set to defend her title against Zelina Vega of the LWO.
Ahead of her match with Ripley at Backlash, Zelina will be in action on next week’s episode of SmackDown, when she faces off against Sonya Deville.
The match was made during a segment on this week’s episode of the SmackDown LowDown, in which Deville and Chelsea Green interrupted Vega’s interview, which led to Sonya accepting Zelina’s challenge for a match on next week’s show.
