Matches have been added to the next upcoming NXT premium live event, WWE Deadline 2025 on December 6 in San Antonio, Texas.
Tonight’s November 18 episode of NXT played host to a few announcements of upcoming matches for Deadline.
Firstly, it was confirmed that the men’s and women’s Iron Survivor Challenge matches will be returning this year.
As we covered earlier, John Cena will announce all 10 Iron Survivor participants on next week’s WWE NXT.
Another match has been confirmed for Deadline as well with championship gold on the line.
Oba Femi made his return last week to confront NXT Champion Ricky Saints, who won the title from Femi at Halloween Havoc on October 25.
This week, Saints was set to address the situation, but he was immediately interrupted by Femi who demanded a rematch.
Saints agreed and the match was seemingly official before they were both interrupted by Trick Williams.
Williams was pleading his case to also be involved in the NXT Title picture despite his loss to Saints last week, but Myles Borne appeared from behind and struck Williams with a steel chair, just like Williams did to Borne a couple of weeks ago.
Borne then stated his intentions to win the Iron Survivor Challenge at WWE Deadline and then challenge either Saints or Femi for the NXT Title.
