Matches Revealed for WWE SmackDown Live

Matches Revealed for WWE SmackDown Live

Four matches have been announced for tomorrow night’s edition of WWE SmackDown Live.

General manager Paige has clearly been busy as this quartet of bouts were revealed in plenty of time to build anticipation before this week’s blue brand episode airs.

First of all, Mrs Mizanin and Mrs Danielson are on a collision course. Maryse will square off with Brie Bella in a singles match which WWE.com says is the Canadian bombshell’s first singles match in around seven years.

This bout will come days before Maryse and her husband The Miz battle Brie Mode and her hubby Daniel Bryan at Hell in a Cell.

In another match announced for SmackDown, R Truth will put his one-match ‘winning streak’ on the line against Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas.

Longtime jobber Truth actually main evented last week’s episode and scored a shocking win over The Miz, albeit with distraction help from Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella. It seems the writing team want to keep the madcap star in the spotlight but is the winning streak gimmick a one-match comedy deal or can it become something more long-term if he defeats Almas on Tuesday night?

Cesaro and Sheamus – The Bar – will duel with Rusev and Aiden English to determine the next challengers for SmackDown Tag Team Champs The New Day.

Finally, the SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair will go one-on-one with Sonya Deville just days before Flair defends against Becky Lynch on the PPV.

We will find out how the SmackDown crowd reacts to the Queen as since Becky turned ‘heel’ at Summerslam, WWE fans have audibly been siding with the Lass Kicker against her former best friend.

Keep tuned to WrestleTalk.com for all the news from this Tuesday night’s show.
