Former NWA Worlds Champion Matt Cardona is set to return to the ring following his bicep injury he suffered back on May 28 at the GCW Downward Spiral event.
Cardona relinquished the championship at NWA Alwayz Ready, with the doctors telling him he will be out of action for 5-6 months, but Cardona himself hoped to be back in just three.
Well, it seems Cardona got his way, as his in-ring return has officially been announced for the upcoming NWA 74 event on August 27.
Cardona will face off against a mystery opponent handpicked by himself.
