At All Out, Matt Hardy suffered a brutal fall in his Broken Rules match with Sammy Guevara. It’s been talked about a lot since Saturday, but Hardy hit his head on the concrete and appeared to be knocked out during the match.
Somehow, he was allowed to continue. Tony Khan announced he did not have a concussion, but Hardy was announced to speak on tonight’s Dynamite.
There was some speculation Hardy might retire on the show. However as Hardy addressed his plans for the future, retirement was not one of them.
Hardy announced he was going to take some time off. He was going to heal and recover. He said he’s wrestling days are definitely not done.

He plans on coming back better than ever and going after the AEW World Championship. He says we will see him again in a ring as he thanked his wife, family, and fans who showed him tremendous love.
Hardy also apologized for the match not meeting expectations. He also apologized for putting people through the scary incident.
While all of that is great and who wouldn’t be glad he’s okay, there is one glaring question. What is wrong with him? If he didn’t get a concussion, then what is he recovering from?
Obviously, Hardy has the right to share what he wants or not share. Let’s just all be glad the spot didn’t result in something worse.
