Matt Hardy Injury Update Via Reby Hardy

Reby Hardy, the wife of Matt Hardy, has provided an update on his condition following a horrifying botch during All Out last night.

The botch saw Matt Hardy and Sammy Guevara overshoot two tables while falling from about 15ft high, with Hardy smacking the back of his head on the concrete floor.

Shockingly, after Hardy was down and out for a while and when he finally got back up to his feet was stumbling around, the doctor cleared him to continue the match, and they went straight to the finish, which was climbing a scaffold to a similar height.

Reby has now tweeted:

“They needed additional imaging done after his CT. He’s still in the hospital. 1000% concussion. Anyone with eyes could have told you that tho.”

Tony Khan has addressed the decision to let Hardy continue after the fall, saying that the doctor cleared him and he wouldn’t overrule the doctor.

This was, and is, a scary situation. We really do send our best to Hardy and wish him a safe recovery.
