It’s SmackDown 1000 tomorrow, which means everyone who has ever appeared on the blue brand is returning for a show that will almost certainly not make any story line sense. But can we add Matt Hardy to the list?
Already confirmed for the show is Rey Mysterio, Vicki Guerrero, James Ellsworth (yes, I know), Teddy Long, The Undertaker, Edge, and Raw-only stable Evolution (Ric Flair, Randy Orton, Triple H, Batista).
So, why do we think that Matt might be making a return? Well, just look at the below tweet and see what you think.
I have TREASURED my time at home with my family, especially being here everyday for my boys..
But duty calls..

Back to work, eh? Either Matt’s got a job at the local Taco Bell, or he’s talking about wrestling. Could this be the time we finally get a Jeff Hardy turning into Brother Nero?
Matt seemingly retired last month, and it would be a bit of an odd move for him to return so soon, particularly as he can hardly walk.
Either way, he almost feels like a WWE Legend, so should get a decent pop if she shows up to lay-out some jobber with Jeff by his side.
