Matt Hardy is taking to his podcast this week to discuss AEW Double or Nothing and share how he really feels about the Young Bucks.
On the heels of their exceptional match at AEW Double or Nothing (after weeks of very funny segments on Being the Elite) Matt Hardy is speaking out about his real feelings about the Young Bucks.
On the recent episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, Matt Hardy described in detail just why the Young Bucks are the certifiable real deal, saying:
“They are so special. If you are a legitimate fan of pro wrestling, and you don’t respect The Young Bucks, you don’t have to like them, maybe they’re not your cup of tea. But if you don’t respect The Young Bucks, you don’t get it.”
“You do not get it because they are a generational tag team and they are extremely special. And on top of that, both of them know exactly what they’re doing in the ring. There’s two white guys who are generous in the ring. And so once again with that deal when Jeff was knocked loopy right from the jump if it was in a match with someone else besides The Young Bucks, it wouldn’t have been as good as it was.”
Elsewhere in the episode, Matt Hardy expanded upon what some fans noted was Jeff Hardy appearing “off” during their match at Double or Nothing with the Young Bucks, revealing what happened to Jeff during the match.
On the latest episode (June 3) of AEW Rampage from their hometown, Matt and Nick Jackson defeated the Lucha Brothers.
