Retired. Adjective. Definition: having left one’s job and ceased to work. Clearly Matt Hardy and Shawn Michaels aren’t aware of this.
In fact, no-one in WWE seems to know what retired actually means, but then we wouldn’t get “amazing” matches like DX vs. Brothers of Destruction if they did. Great match.
And now, it’s time to enter the speculation station, as Matt Hardy has said he wants to face Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 35…assuming both men can still walk by then.
Speaking to Sam Roberts, Hardy answered the question of who he wants to face at WrestleMania 35 with:
“Now that he is back, Shawn Michaels. If you have him back on the table, you just have to take advantage and utilize him.”
Unfortunately for Mr Hardy, this match is about as likely as me taking on Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 35.
Hardy’s legs and back are starting to fuse together due to the insane number or leg drops he has performed over the years, and his in ring ability has suffered as a result.
But, it’s good that he can have his little fantasies.
