Matt Hardy Wants To Team With Jeff Hardy In AEW

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) star Matt Hardy has said his ideal way to finish his career would be teaming with Jeff Hardy in AEW.

This is something that he’s expressed before, but he reiterated it with some new comments on his recent Twitch stream.

Matt Hardy said:

“The gimmick I would like to end my career on, I would like to finish my career teaming with my brother as the Hardy Boyz. Real life Matt and real life Jeff, doing our thing. I feel like that’s a beautiful way to tie up a career. To go out the way you came in, I think that’s super cool. I would like to finish my career with my brother as a team. Recently, I mentioned this and I saw a couple of websites say, ‘Matt wants Jeff Hardy to come to AEW for one more match’. That’s incorrect. To correct the record, I would love to have Jeff come to AEW so we could team together. There are a lot of great teams there. A proper Hardys vs. Young Bucks feud would be amazing.”

Hardy (of the Matt variety) is currently the leader of the Hardy Family Office faction in AEW, which consists of Private Party, the Butcher, the Blade and the Bunny, the Hybrid2, and most recently has been trying to recruit Jora Johl.

Jeff Hardy, on the other hand, recently signed a new deal with WWE and is still an active talent on the Raw brand, most recently beating Cedric Alexander.
