# Matt Hardy Pitches Hardy Boyz ‘Generational Dream Match’ For WWE WrestleMania 42

Former WWE star and current TNA Tag Team Champion Matt Hardy has pitched what he described as a generational dream match for WrestleMania 42.

New WWE World Tag Team Champions were crowned on the December 29 Raw episode, with Jimmy & Jey Uso defeating AJ Styles & Dragon Lee for the gold.

Matt Hardy took to [Twitter](https://x.com/MATTHARDYBRAND/status/2005875188571705742) following this match with a congratulatory message, and a pitch for the April 18-19.

Pitching a Hardys vs Usos vs New Day match, Matt Hardy wrote:

*Congrats, @WWEUsos! Well deserved win as you guys absolutely killed it.*

*Maybe at @WrestleMania, it’s time for The Usos vs The New Day vs The Hardy Boyz in a generational dream match.*

Matt Hardy later shared a follow-up post, [writing](https://x.com/MATTHARDYBRAND/status/2006126034781970589):

*SOOO.. People are wanting a TLC match?*
