Matt Jackson Reveals Which Friend He Was Referencing On AEW Dynamite AEW

Matt Jackson has revealed which friend he was referencing on last week’s AEW Dynamite: Blood and Guts special.

On last Wednesday’s Dynamite, AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks cut a backstage promo about all of their friends being out with injuries.

Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish are now all out of action, but Matt Jackson referenced that they still have one friend still around, which Nick Jackson then said the AEW World Tag Team Titles were their friends.

On Monday’s Being The Elite episode, Matt revealed that the actual friend that he was reference was in fact Hangman Adam Page.

The latest edition saw Matt Jackson take a step towards mending the fractured relationship with Hangman Page by drafting a text message to his former friend before deleting it all.

He wrote:

“Hey man. I think it’s time we talk. Can we just forget about the last couple of years? You’re one of our best friends and I feel like we just need to have one conversation. It can fix all of this. I love you dude”

It looks like The Young Bucks are ready to finally reunite the original members of The Elite again.

The story of Hangman Page and his imploded friendship with the other members of The Elite has been ongoing for nearly three years now.

Despite siding with Kenny Omega during his singles feud with Hangman, The Young Bucks gave Page a nod of approval before his final Buckshot Lariat to defeat Omega for the AEW World Championship at Full Gear 2021.

Matt and Nick Jackson defeated Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus to win the AEW World Tag Team Titles for the second time in a ladder match on the June 15 edition of AEW Dynamite: Road Rager.
