Matt Riddle Battles Seth Rollins At WWE Clash At The Castle

During the WWE Clash At The Castle UK premium live event, Matt Riddle and Seth Rollins finally met in one-on-one action.

The story of the match focused on Riddle’s emotions, with Rollins using Riddle’s anger against him.

At one point in the match, Rollins got a two-count following a Bro-derick, Riddle’s signature move. Later, he dropped the Original Bro with his tag partner Randy Orton’s signature draping DDT.

After a flurry of offence from Riddle, Rollins ultimately capitalised on the Raw Tag Team Champion’s anger, pinning the popular star after two Stomps, one from the second rope.

This match had been postponed from SummerSlam, with WWE announcing a reportedly kayfabe injury to Riddle ahead of the July 30 premium live event.
