Matt Riddle Shows Off Awesome New Ring Gear At NXT House Show

Last month at NXT TakeOver: Portland, Matt Riddle and Pete Dunne, collectively known as The Broserweights, defeated Undisputed Era to capture the NXT Tag Team Championships.

The tag title match was made after Riddle and Dunne won the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament, defeating former NXT UK Tag Team Champions Grizzled Young Veterans in the final.

The team has divided opinions online in recent weeks. Some, like myself, think that Dunne and Riddle have great chemistry as a tandem. However, others argue that they would be better off as singles stars.

Regardless of whether you think they should be a team or not, you cannot argue that the pairing of Riddle and Dunne has not produced some very entertaining moments and segments on NXT TV.

One of the more entertaining moments came at a NXT Live Event over the weekend. Riddle took to Twitter in the early hours of this morning to share a image from a house show of him wearing Pete Dunne’s in-ring gear.

The Broserweights are set to defend their tag team titles against the aforementioned Undisputed Era next week on NXT TV. Perhaps we will see Riddle debut his new in-ring gear on the show.
