Matt Riddle Trains With NJPW Star WWE

WWE star Matt Riddle has been training with a NJPW star.

A possible partnership with WWE and NJPW has been a hot topic this week after NEVER Openweight Champion Karl Anderson along with Doc Gallows returned to reunite with AJ Styles on Monday’s Raw.

To spark more speculation, the NJPW World Twitter account retweeted The Good Brothers’ return and IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Jay White commented on the return.

With Anderson still scheduled to defend his title at NJPW’s Battle Autumn event in November, it looks like some more crossover between the two promotions has been documented on social media.

Matt Riddle took to Twitter to post a photo of himself alongside Minoru Suzuki after training together.

Riddle tweeted the following caption:

Stallions train with Stallions!!! Nothing happens overnight anything worthwhile takes time and hard work and last nights class was exceptional! Thank you everyone who came in and trained and I hope to see you all next Wednesday #bro #stallion #wwe #bro420 #suzuki

Matt Riddle is coming off the heels of a huge win at WWE Extreme Rules over Seth Rollins in the Fight Pit Match, which also featured UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier as special guest referee.

Riddle went on to defeat Sami Zayn on the October 10 edition of Monday Night Raw.
