Max Caster Files To Trademark ‘The Ace Of America’ AEW

According to the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO), AEW star Max Caster has filed for a new trademark.

On April 28, an application was filed by Caster to trademark the term ‘The Ace Of America’. Per the report, the trademark registration is intended to cover categories surrounding ‘entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests’.

The following description accompanied the filing:

Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes

This filing is interesting, with AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door just around the corner. The term ‘Ace’ is typically used by Japanese promotions to describe the top star of the promotion. Hiroshi Tanahashi is notably nicknamed the Ace, although some consider Kazuchika Okada the true Ace of NJPW.

Okada has confirmed that he plans to be part of Forbidden Door on June 26, naming the AEW stars he wants to face in the future.
