AEW may stand for All Elite Wrestling, it may stand for Acclaimed Every Wednesday, it depends who you ask!
The Acclaimed fans who prefer the latter were in luck tonight (November 9) as The Acclaimed were teaming up with FTR to take on the dastardly duos of the Gunn Club and Swerve in our Glory.
With commentary noting “a subtle thing” upon their entrance with Lee snubbing Strickland’s fist bump, it seems the match would be set to serve multiple storyline purposes.
While the Firm partially accompanied the Gunn Club to the ring, Stokely Hathaway and W.Morrissey did not remain.
With the Acclaimed finally making their triumphant entrance last, Max Caster took the topical nods to another level mentioning both Kyrie Irving and controversial Georgia state Senatorial candidate, Herschel Walker.
Of Irving, “I’ll make you cry till your eyes are burning, I’mma make you say sorry like Kyrie Irving.”
Ending with an interesting line that garnered nods of approval from FTR, “About to beat two snakes and the Ass Boys.”
FTR and The Acclaimed picked up the victory to end the first match of the night.
