Pat McAfee Ejected From SmackDown After Altercation With Austin Theory WWE

The business has picked up between Austin Theory and Pat McAfee on their road to WrestleMania 38.

Tonight’s (March 11) episode of SmackDown saw a continuation of the burgeoning feud between Austin Theory and commentator Pat McAfee as Theory inexplicably joined commentary briefly during the Intercontinental Championship rematch between Ricochet and Sami Zayn.

Coming out before the start of the match, Theory was at ringside a very short time before McAfee asked him what he was doing; while Theory stood in front of the desk, verbally taking McAfee to task, Pat jumped up on the commentary desk in his signature fashion but instead of busting some signature dance moves, he dove at Theory in an attempt to bust his face.

A fight ensued seeing personnel from the back come to ringside to break up the altercation with Michael Cole utilizing his acting chops while voicing concern for Pat, trying to remind him to stay professional.

After a break, Michael Cole advised that McAfee was escorted out of the building related to the altercation seeing Cole complete commentary for the championship match solo.
