McMahon Family Member Nominated For An Oscar WWE

Congratulations are in order for a member of the McMahon family, with the movie they produced nominated for multiple Academy Awards.

The nominations for the 98th Academy Awards were announced on Thursday (January 22), with the top films of 2025 celebrated.

One film which was named during the nominations ceremony was Train Dreams, which notably had Marissa McMahon attached as a producer, with Michael Heimler, Will Janowitz, Ashley Schlaifer and Teddy Schwarzman also listed as producers for the project.

Train Dreams was nominated for the Best Picture Oscar at the 98th Academy Awards.

Producers are the individuals nominated when a film is nominated for Best Picture and Marissa McMahon – the wife of Shane McMahon – was one of the producers named by the Academy as a nominee for this project, as you can see in the graphic below.

Train Dreams

In addition to Best Picture, Train Dreams also earned nominations in the Adapted Screenplay, Original Song (for the song “Train Dreams”) and Cinematography categories.

Train Dreams follows a logger who works to develop US railroads, while struggling to find his place in the changing world.

This movie was also nominated for multiple awards at the Golden Globe Awards, including Best Male Actor – Drama with Joel Edgerton, and Best Original Song for the song Train Dreams.
