WWE Hall of Famer and AEW commentator Jim Ross has reflected on TBS Champion Mercedes Mone’s run in AEW so far.
In March, Mercedes Mone debuted in All Elite Wrestling at the Big Business edition of AEW Dynamite in Boston.
Since then, Mone defeated Willow Nightingale to win the TBS Championship at Double Or Nothing and then defeated Stephanie Vaquer to win the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship at Forbidden Door.
On the latest edition of the Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross reflected on Mercedes Mone’s run in AEW so far. He said:
“I still haven’t felt her yet. I still haven’t felt her connection yet. And I know that she’s got a lot of popularity, and I know that people around the world know who she is. But I haven’t felt it.”
“Sometimes I think she’s a cool babyface, sometimes I think she’s a cool heel. But she’s pretty cool nonetheless.”
