Current TBS Champion Mercedes Mone believes AEW has the talent for an all-women’s weekly television show.
Mercedes Mone has a big part of All Elite Wrestling since signing with the promotion in March 2024. Mone has won the TBS Championship and NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship, while putting on memorable bouts against Willow Nightingale and Stephanie Vaquer.
During her time in WWE, the former Sasha Banks played an integral role in the women’s revolution for the company.
Speaking with The Battleground Podcast, Mercedes Mone was asked whether AEW should do an all-women’s weekly show. She answered:
“Wow, a weekly show, absolutely. We have the talent, so why not? All Elite Women Wrestling? There you go.”
“We have the best women’s wrestling. From Willow, Mariah May, Toni Storm, Serena Deeb, Kris Statlander, Kamille, there is definitely an opportunity to have an all women’s show every single week, so I don’t see why not.”
Mone is currently embroiled in a feud with Kris Statlander on AEW programming.
